SeevCash

Ghanaian anchor that bridges USDC on Stellar with Ghanaian cedis over MTN, Telecel, and AirtelTigo mobile money. It speaks the standard SEPs with no API key, so a wallet integrates straight from the browser, and the testnet anchor settles real testnet USDC.

How this anchor scores

Commercial

  • failed: Locally denominated asset (stablecoin or stablebond) on Stellar USDC only; GHS is off-chain fiat
  • met: Support for local payment rails connected to Stellar Ghana mobile money (MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo) and bank
  • unverified: Competitive rates (wholesale <25 bps conversion) Testnet SEP-38 quotes ~3%; production pricing unconfirmed
  • unverified: Deep liquidity for low slippage (local ↔ global assets)

Developer

  • met: Open self-service access (credentials + sandbox, no human in the loop) Standard SEP-10 auth on testnet; no keys or signup
  • partial: Accurate, well-documented API (docs match the wire) SEP-standard, but docs drift: wrong SEP-24 paths, missing withdraw params, mainnet values on testnet pages
  • met: High-fidelity sandbox (a completed test ramp lands real on-chain testnet tokens) SEP-6 deposit and withdraw settle real testnet USDC; mobile money leg simulated
  • partial: Agent-buildable (machine-readable docs/spec, diagnosable failures) llms.txt + SEP contract; SEP-12 silently accepts unknown fields, SEP-24 page returns 500
  • partial: Fee/rate discoverability (costs findable via pricing docs or a quote/fee API) SEP-38 quotes work; fees disagree across /info, SEP-6, and SEP-38

Integration Flow

On-Ramp

  1. Authenticate — Sign a SEP-10 challenge with the wallet for a JWT.
  2. Register the customer — Submit SEP-12 KYC with the mobile money number and provider to collect from.
  3. Preview the rate — Read a SEP-38 price for GHS → USDC over mobile money.
  4. Start the deposit — Call SEP-6 deposit; the anchor sends a mobile money prompt for the GHS amount (simulated on testnet).
  5. Receive USDC — The anchor pays USDC on Stellar; poll the SEP-6 transaction.

Off-Ramp

  1. Authenticate and register — SEP-10 auth, then SEP-12 KYC with the mobile money number to pay out to.
  2. Start the withdrawal — Call SEP-6 withdraw with funding_method=mobile; receive the anchor’s Stellar account and a memo.
  3. Send USDC — Sign a USDC payment to that account with the memo in Freighter.
  4. Receive the payout — The anchor pays GHS to mobile money (simulated on testnet); poll the SEP-6 transaction.

Developer Onboarding

  1. No signup or API key: read the anchor’s stellar.toml for its SEP endpoints and signing key. ↗
  2. Authenticate the user’s wallet with SEP-10; the JWT lasts 15 minutes. ↗
  3. Register the customer with SEP-12, including mobile_money_number and mobile_money_provider. Testnet approves immediately. ↗

Known Issues

  • SEP-24 (interactive) is advertised, but its hosted page returns a server error, so the app uses SEP-6 only.
  • The SEP-6 withdrawal requires funding_method=mobile, which the docs omit. Mobile money payouts go to the number on the SEP-12 customer, not a per-request destination.
  • SEP-12 reports ACCEPTED for any field it is sent, recognised or not. Use SEP-9 names such as birth_date; the docs’ date_of_birth is not recognised.
  • Deposits don’t create accounts despite account_creation in /info; the Stellar account must exist and trust USDC first.
  • Fees disagree across /sep6/info, the SEP-24 /info, the SEP-6 responses, and SEP-38 quotes.
